She is coming home!  11-year-old Kylie Watson, who, with her father Chad, survived a deadly fire that claimed the lives of her mother and 8 siblings, is being released from Vanderbilt and will return home to Muhlenberg County this Saturday.  And the community plans to be out in force to welcome her back.

Folks wanting to welcome Kylie home are asked to line up in front of Muhlenberg County High School's west campus.  Plans are to line the area in front of the football stadium and participants are asked to bring PURPLE balloons, posters and more to celebrate Kylie's return!  Purple is Kylie's favorite color.

Kylie's father, Chad, was released from the hospital yesterday.  Both were taken to Vanderbilt where they were listed in critical condition immediately following last month's blaze at their home in Depoy.

Both have recovered and are staying with relatives until their new home is constructed.

The Watson family fire gained national attention with coverage on CNN and Fox News. Country music superstars The Band Perry paid for portions of the funeral for the nine family members who perished in the tragedy.  Jagoe Homes has offered to build Chad and Kylie a brand new home.
