Hometown Heroes Golf Scramble

A star studded golf scramble is coming up this Thursday to benefit the International Bluegrass Music Center. The Owensboro Hometown Heroes Celebrity Golf Scramble will take place at the Owensboro Country Club, with Rex Chapman, Cliff Hagan, the Hayden Brothers (Nicky, Tommy, & Roger), Darrell Waltrip, Michael Waltrip, Bobby Watson, and Brad Wilkerson all participating!

The charity scramble is to help the Bluegrass Music Cent continue to grow, and be a home for bluegrass fans from around the world. One of the growth projects is the construction of the new 64,000 sq ft facility downtown.

The scramble is also to help highlight the hometown heroes of Owensboro. Following the scramble, the participants will be inducted into the Owensboro Walk of Fame. The induction will take place during a reception hosted by the City of Owensboro that will also feature food and drinks, a silent auction, and live bluegrass music.
