There's still plenty of FREE sand bags available in Daviess County. Here's how to get some if needed.

As the flooding continues in Daviess County I made some calls to check on the sand bag situation and there's some good news for those worried about their property.

Daviess County Public Works still has plenty of sand bags available to the community.

Once you get to their location on HWY 81, there's signs set up to help you get to where you need to be. They are offering 100 FREE sand bags per property.

Don't waste any time and take advantage of this much needed service.
