I Had A Blast At The Bourbon Gala! [PHOTOS]

On Saturday, I headed to Bardstown for The Great Kentucky Bourbon Tasting & Gala. A bestie/sorority sister of mine from Western and I have been planning on going to the "Bourbon Prom" for months now and I was more than ready for an awesome night. The event is a trademark event of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and it was just as much fun as I knew it was going to be!

The evening started with a tasting of the finest bourbons Kentucky has to offer from eight distilleries and four brands. Oh my goodness, they were all great! We also got to keep the glasses from each tasting, although I've somehow misplaced all of mine, ha! (Shocker)

Everyone at the Bourbon Prom was dressed to the nine's. I had forgotten how much fun it is to get your hair done and get all fancied up! We loved this man's outfit so much, that we just had to have a picture with him. I still can't decide what's better, the bling on his jacket or that awesome cummerbund?!?

Seriously thou, the event was amazing and I'm already excited for next year. And, I had forgotten how beautiful Bardstown is. The downtown area is so historic and I really enjoyed just driving and walking around and checking things out.

I guess the bourbon didn't hurt. ;)
