ICYMI: Richard Sherman’s Post Game Rant

Well the teams for the Big Game are set! The Broncos and the Seahawks are headed to the final game of the season in a couple weeks thanks to their respective wins last night.

But it seems that even bigger than the match-up, the big news coming out of the games last night was a post game interview by Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. After the Seahawks win, Sherman was interviewed on the sideline, when he started in on his rant. In case you missed it, check it out:

Now if you missed the game you may be wondering why Sherman went off, or what he was going on about. Well here is a little background. Last play of the game, 49ers have the ball going for a last minute touchdown. 30 seconds on the clock, Colin Kaepernick goes for a pass to Michael Crabtree in the endzone. Sherman breaks up the pass in the endzone, knocking the ball to Malcolm Smith. After the play, Sherman is “celebrating” and gets slapped by Crabtree, resulting in a penalty for the 49ers.

What is interesting is I posted a video about Sherman yesterday of him with a 3 year old Seahawks superfan that made him seem like a really nice guy… Should make things very interesting for the upcoming Big Game! Will we see more rants before then? Guess we will have to watch and see…
