UPDATE: Authorities have found Ronald Hardrick, who escaped earlier this morning.

Tristate Homepage is reporting that an inmate has escaped during transport. Sebree Elementary is on lockdown due to the escape.

Police say around 8:00am Monday morning, during an inmate transport from Henderson to McLean County, a prisoner escaped on foot.

Deputies say the inmate got away near the KY 56 overpass near Sebree.

Police are searching for 51-year-old Ronald T. Hardrick.

He was last seen handcuffed in the front and wearing a green and white striped jumpsuit.

Sebree Elementary has been put on lockdown while police hunt for Hardrick.

Eyewitness News has crews in the area and will bring you updates as they become available.

Police advise NOT trying to apprehend the suspect. If you see the man, call Kentucky State Police at 1-270-676-3313 or at 1-800-222-5555, or your local law enforcement.
