JC Penney to Close 40 Stores Across the States

JC Penney is planning the closing of 40 of their stores across the states.  This could mean no more awesome quarter zip sweaters for me but something that is even more upsetting is the loss of over 2200 jobs.  Are any of the stores in the Tri-State going to be affected by the closures?

I love me some Penney's and I do quite a lot of shopping there for shirts and those quarter zips that I was mentioning earlier.  Great deals on shoes and extremely interesting "As seen on TV items" that you just happen to come across and think.... wow I really need this.  This closure better not affect ANY JC Penney in the Tri-State.
