Jimmy Parrott’s Forty….. Fifth Birthday

Jimmy Parrott celebrated his 45th.... um, 48th birthday with us today on the radio!  He was very excited as you will be able to see in the pictures.  We fitted him with a gift card to Walgreens, so that way he can get his very own weather radio, and we also gave him a very stylish t-shirt from the crew at WBKR.

Now, Jimmy had a different idea for his birthday this year.  He knew we would be coming out to see him and help him celebrate.  Here's what he did.  He gave the friendly town hall a call a couple days ago and let them know it was his birthday, and he requested to rent out the hall for his special day.  It worked famously.

Hawesville Mayor, Rita Stevens, was happy to open up the doors and set Jimmy up with an early morning birthday bash!

I made a mistake... It's not Jimmy anymore.  It's Sergeant Jimmy... Reporting for duty.

He loves his Sergeant hat and his new book on criminal law.
