Technical Writing Specialist

Job Description

This position develops and maintains compliance materials through a variety of multimedia software. Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, drawings, prints, sound, text, data and video into consolidated and seamless codes and standard policy products. Analyzes the impact of new, existing and potential products in relation to the stakeholder environment. Develops/distributes materials and facilitates their application and access. Coordinates the implementation of various instructional activities. Demonstrates familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within an industrial compliance media context. Participates in the creation of strategies that will effectively and continuously develop the content for compliance policy and plans. Innovate and continually drive to the next level by staying abreast of new technologies, industry practices and cutting edge techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field.

Preferred: Registered Gas Distribution Professional (RGDP).

Work Experience Essential:

2 - 4 years of technical writing experience.

Preferred: 3+ years of utility field experience with at least one year regulatory or compliance experience.
