John Calipari Invites Hero from Alexandria Shooting Spree to a UK Game

The shooting at a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia on Wednesday could have unfolded much worse had it not been for the courage of Capitol Police officers.

One of those officers, David Bailey, was hit in the ankle during the assault.

If it weren't for Bailey and his fellow officers, we'd be reading about a death toll from Wednesday's shooting.

As it is, five were injured.

UK coach John Calipari phoned Bailey and invited him to a UK game.

I hope Officer Bailey accepts and I hope I'm in a position to get to see that game, whichever one it is. The roar from the crowd will be deafening.
