Katie Bouchard of Owensboro Wins Miss Kentucky

The third time was definitely the charm for Katie Bouchard of Owensboro.  Tonight in Lexington, she was crowned Miss Kentucky!

This is the third consecutive year that Katie has competed for the title.  Tonight was her night . . . proving that hard work, dedication and persistence pay off.  And I can tell you from experience, Katie is the real deal.  She's smart, beautiful, ambitious and dedicated to her community.  Now, she gets to represent our entire state and, honestly, I can't think of anyone who will serve us better.

Here are the official results from the pageant, which was held in Lexington at the Singletary Center for the Arts.

Miss Kentucky: Katie Bouchard!!!!!!
1st Runner-up: Alex Francke
2nd Runner-up: Caroline ford
3rd Runner-up: Haley Wheeler
4th Runner-up: Yulia Perevochikova

With her title, Katie will represent Kentucky in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City on September 9th.  The pageant will be the 92nd Miss America Pageant and it will air live on ABC.
