Was there any doubt that I was going to blog about Kelly Clarkson's Christmas CD at some point?  Wrapped in Red was released one week ago and it took me all of about two and half seconds to preview it on iTunes.  And, to no one's surprise, I think it's awesome.  And what I particularly like about the album is the mix of classic Christmas songs with some high energy new tracks like "Underneath the Tree."  That song wears its Mariah "All I Want for Christmas is You" Carey influences on its stocking feet.  It's up-tempo, fun and Clarkson, naturally, sings the holy mistletoe out of it.  Here's the official lyric video . . .

That song has me rockin' around the Christmas tree and my tree's not event out of the box yet!  LOL!

Wrapped in Red is awesome, my little elves!  And, let me just throw one more gift in the stocking, on more present under the tree, and one more cookie on Santa's plate.  The last track on the disc is "Silent Night", which Clarkson performs with Reba and Trisha Yearwood.  Uh, yeah!  Merry Christmas and you're welcome.
