Ken Block is a mad man.  If someone asked me what Gymkhana meant, I wouldn't give the actual definition.  It would be more aimed to "insanity, foolishness, toxic, eye popping, and there is no way he just did that"... rather than the actual definition of "a day event comprising races and other competitions between horse riders or car drivers."

They shut down cities so that Ken Block can spin his cars around in circles and drift through barrels and underneath cars and such.  But this isn't the first time they have shut down a city.  During episode 5 of Gymkhana, the producers figured out a way to shut down San Francisco to have a little fun.  This time, they shut down Los Angeles to let Ken Block take a highly customized 1965 Mustang (which, by the way was converted to all wheel drive) around the streets and tear everything up.

Ken takes this car into the L.A. River, through the drive thru at Randy's Donuts, up and down on ramps, and even underneath the front end of a Chevy Caprice.

It's Something Else
