I wonder if the folks at Kenergy still look back at the tweet they sent out yesterday thinking that it's not something they ever thought they'd have to say.

And, quite honestly, before a few days ago, they never would have.

This whole Pokemon Go phenomenon is the fastest-growing one I can remember in some time.

I heard about it for the first time 9 days ago and the next thing you know it's got the world by the collar.

I tried to play. I really did.

I had no idea what I was doing and it was a total breakdown.

I'll live.

But now there are safety concerns regarding the game.

I've heard that there are people actually running out into the street to catch Pikachu or whatever these little guys are called.

Not good.

And then it really got out of hand since Kenergy felt they had to issue THIS:

 

Seriously, people, play it safe. I'm sure there's a Pokemon in your living room or backyard. You know, where you can't get electrocuted.
