A year ago, UK point guard Quade Green was vital to the Cats' success. Now, as the new freshman class is taking over the starting line-up, Green has decided it's time for a change.

The sophomore is transferring to a school yet to be determined.

Green started 13 games as a freshman, helping the Cats reach the Sweet 16 in this year's NCAA Tournament. Two freshman guards, Immaunel Quickley and Ashton Hagans, have pushed Green to back-up or off the ball.

A five-start recruit out of high school, Green chose UK over Syracuse and he may be looking to transfer there. La Salle and Washington have also been mentioned as Green's possible choices.

Kentucky is currently 7-2 and they will host Utah this Saturday. Tip off is at 4:00 p.m. and can be heard right here on 92.5 WBKR and our sister station WOMI 99.9 FM/1490 AM.
