If you live in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (or the state of Indiana) and you plan to vote in the November election, you MUST register today if you are not already registered to vote.  The deadline is this afternoon.

Tuesday, October 11th at 4:00PM, the registration books will close in Kentucky, Tuesday, October 11th at 4:00PM Central Standard time.

According to the Daviess County Clerk's Office, If citizens are not registered or need to make changes to their voter registration record, they must do so by the date and time above.  The easiest way to check your registration or make changes is to go to GoVoteKY.com.  You may also stop by Room 107 of the Courthouse to fill out a voter card or simply update your driver’s license to be ready for the November General Election (November 8th).

 Also, a reminder that Kentucky is not an early voting state; however, we do have absentee voting.  The in-house absentee machine at the Daviess County Clerk's Office is now open.

Voter registration closes in over a dozen states today.
