The first seven months of Kentucky Wesleyan College's current fiscal year has been very lucrative. Through December 31st, the college received nearly double what it got during the same period in the previous year.

In the first seven months of fiscal 2015, KWC received $620,169.

The outset of fiscal 2016 has seen a windfall of $1.19 million in cash gifts and nearly a quarter of it came during December alone.

Merry Christmas, right?

During the worldwide Giving Project on December 1st, the school raised $113,000.

In addition, payouts from the estate gift of the late E. Luellen Pyles totaled $3.28 million.

And then there's the more than $50,000 raised from the annual Phonathon.

Not a bad way to start 2016 AT ALL.

And, of course, anyone who wishes to donate to KWC can do so at www.kwc.edu.
