Kizzy Takes the Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics [Video]

This is HILARIOUS!!  Saturday marked the 2013 Polar Bear Plunge at The Hines Center in Philpot and 200 plungers showed up to jump in the chilly, 22 degree waters of the Hines Center lake.  Among them was Kizzy, who joined WBKR’s team, Jimmy Parrot’s Plungers.  The cameras were rolling as Kizzy, decked out in a scuba suit, arm puffers and Korger bags, walked out onto the dock to prepare for her plunge.  WATCH!

Saturday was an awesome event.  We helped raise nearly $36,000 for Special Olympics Kentucky.  Stay tuned to WBKR.com for more video from the Plunge.  Dave Spencer, Jaclyn and I jumped too . . . with the encouragement of our team captain, Jimmy Parrot.  We’ll post that video tomorrow!
