I remember it well when LeAnn Rimes shocked the country music world with "Blue" at just 13 years-old in 1996. It was the same year that I started working at WBKR and started playing the song. She had that Patsy Cline type of voice that I loved so much and at such a young age. It was obvious that she was something special!  It rose to the Top 10 on the Country Music Charts and the album of the same name hit #1. Along with two Grammy Awards, she's won ACM Awards, CMA, Billboard Music and American Music Awards and now she's coming to the Preston Arts Center in Henderson on Thursday, October 5th, 2017 at 7:30 PM. I for one, plan to be there front and center!

Be listening to The Barb Show this week because, during the Lunchtime Request Show, you'll have a chance to win tickets to the show!

For more information about the show and for tickets visit the Henderson Area Arts Alliance today!

The video for "Blue" has 1,643,992 views to date and counting on YouTube which is incredible, but we'll get to see her perform it live along with other hits like, "How Do I Live" which is my favorite!
