Remember the old disco song "Knock On Wood?"  Well, it was like "thunder and lightning" last night in parts of the tri-state as random severe thunderstorms blew in.  They brought with them some very impressive lightning and some of my Facebook friends were outside with their phones and cameras aimed at the sky to capture some "electric" moments.  And some of them did.  Check this out!

My friend Nicole Gray, who is quite the photographer, snapped this photo and I love it.  How cool is this?

Then, there's this photo, which was snapped by Jennifer Rudd.  You guys know Jennifer from our annual St. Jude Radiothon.  This child has lots of hidden talents.  She sing, she can make music with plastic cups (like in Pitch Perfect) and she's got some crazy mad skills with the camera and snaps some amazing shots . ..  like this one!

And then there's this one by my friend, Sandy Smith.  Sandy was outside trying to time out the perfect shot.  She posted several, but I think this one takes the cake.  It looks like something out of the movie World War Z. I love the colors of the sky and the random lightning bolt on the right side of the frame.  It's so cool.
