Katie Bouchard, a former Miss Daviess County (far left), is currently in Lexington competing in the 2016 Miss Kentucky Pageant.  The pageant is the Commonwealth's feeder for the Miss America pageant and, consequently, features an award named for legendary Miss America winner, Heather Renee French Henry.

That award is the Heather French Henry Quality of Life Award, a scholarship award which Katie and the other four finalists will interview for on Thursday.

Here at WBKR and WBKR.com, we'll be tracking Katie's progress all week long.  She and Molly Kothlow, also of Owensboro, are two of 30 contestants competing for the crown of Miss Kentucky!  We wish them both GOOD LUCK!  And we hope one of our home-grown beauty queens can claim the title of Miss Kentucky 2016!
