Local Blood Drives This Week
December 19, 2011 11:59 AM With the holidays here, the Western Kentucky Blood Center needs your help. They are in need for all blood types, but specifically O- and O+. There are several blood drives this week around the Owensboro area.
Monday, December 19th – Lydia Haycraft Benefit Blood Drive; Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hawesville Noon – 8:00pm
Tuesday, December 20th – Texas Gas Employee Drive; The bloodmobile will be parked in the parking lot of the Frederica Street facility 7:30am – 12:00pm
Thursday, December 22nd – 2nd Annual Garret Elder Memorial Blood Drive; Sorgho Fire Department, Hwy 56, Owensboro 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Friday, December 23rd – WKRBC Christmas Donors; This drive is at the blood center, 3015 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro 8:30am – 4:30pm * Donors receive a long-sleeved tshirt
WKRBC hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm; Tuesday 8:30am – 8:00pm; Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
