The 2013 Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards luncheon was held Tuesday afternoon in Louisville, and local law enforcement officers were honored.

Officer Aaron Hamilton, an OPD Patrol Officer for eight years, received top honors for the department. In 2013, Officer Hamilton made 72 DUI arrests, good enough for second place among agencies in Division Two in Kentucky.

Deputy Tyler Free, who's been serving as a Patrol Deputy for eight years with the Daviess County Sheriff's Office, produced 59 DUI arrests this year. He placed third in the state for Division Three agencies and received top honors for his department.

Trooper Levi Scott, who's been with Kentucky State Police Post 16 for the past two years, made 116 DUI arrests in 2013 and was awarded top honors for his post. Trooper Scott placed second among Kentucky's Division Six agencies.

Congratulations to all of these officers and a big THANK YOU for keeping us all safe!
