The 2017 NASCAR season is underway, albeit a day late, Rain washed out the start of the Advance Auto Parts Clash, Saturday evening. Once things got started, the action was fast and furious. Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch were knocked out of the race, when  Johnson hit the wall hard in two separate incidents, in turn four. Then, on the finally lap, Denny Hamlin was involved in an accident, allowing Joey Logano to take the win.  The trip to victory lane should give Logano confidence heading into next Sunday's Daytona 500.

Before we get to the "Great American Race," the starting positions must be set. Qualifying took place this afternoon, with Chase Elliott taking the pole, edging out Dalle Jr. The other starting positions will be set through the Can-Am 150 duels, Thursday evening. WBKR's coverage will begin at 5P.M.
