On Sunday, one day after Louisville got their first win after several losses in a row, senior point guard Chris Jones (who's now more famous for his UK game flop in December) was dismissed from the team. Jones, who was also benched for his flop and he had missed Louisville's loss to Syracuse, has been accused of allegedly sending a threatening text message to an unidentified woman. Thus, Coach Rick Pitino  had enough.

The woman did not press charges, but she said she wanted someone to talk to Jones about his behavior; anger management classes have been suggested. According to sources, campus police are investigating Jones in a separate incident, but they are noting the latest allegation, however they are not launching a second investigation at this time. Jones allegedly sent the threatening text on February 17, a day before the Syracuse game.

Without Jones, the Cardinals are facing a shaky road ahead, especially when it comes to the post-season. Louisville is currently fourth in their inaugural ACC conference season standings; a conference that includes oh, Duke, Virginia, and North Carolina.
