We are always hearing heart touching stories about people finding each other again after years of separation, animals reunited with their masters after travelling hundreds of miles to return home or parents back again with their biological children. Seldom do you hear of a man finding his stolen car. Edward Neely of Jefferson City, Missouri, had his 1969 Chevy Camaro stolen 16 years ago.

A man in Salt Lake City had purchased it on eBay and had it listed on KSL Classifieds. The VIN had been changed. Police say there is no telling how many buyers and sellers of the car there have been. Neely saw it posted when he was searching for muscle cars. The poor guy that “owned” is out $16,000 he paid for the car and $10,000 in upgrades. Neely and his car he named Chelsea Pearl were reunited last Tuesday.
