He's a Heisman winner, and he pulled off a heck of a comeback in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl yet Johnny Manziel just can't get that "Johnny Football" trademark application to go through.Manziel probably played his last college football game in that exciting bowl win. It's all a bunch of paperwork and waiting periods holding up his trademark. An organization called Kenneth R. Reynolds Family Investments, located in College Station, Texas made the trademark request three months prior to Manziel's corporation filing with the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office. The Reynolds group has to get Manziel's permission to use "Johnny Football" on jerseys and footballs. They have to prove the name doesn't refer to the Texas A & M quarterback.

Ironically, a woman from Plano, Texas received a registration certificate from the USTPO back in September for "Juanito Futbol". Weird, but true.
