Today, the hopes of the University of Kentucky football program were pinned onto former Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops, who was introduced as UK's new head coach.

Football is a gene in the Stoops family. Brother Mike is the former head football coach at the University of Arizona and, of course, Bob is the head coach at Oklahoma.

After a 10-2 Florida State season, Coach Stoops will bring his defensive schemes to Lexington.

Florida, Texas, Ohio State, and others have success in both football and basketball. No reason Kentucky can't either.
