Only a week removed from the "series finale" of 'True Detective' and speculation on the next in the series, I need to take a little of your time and tell you how much the actor Matthew McConaughey and I have in common.

1.  We are both from Texas. He was born in Uvalde and I in Lubbock.

2. Our names alliterate.

3. His dad owned a gas station and so did mine.

4. His wife, Camila Alves, was born on January 28 and so was I.

Remarkable, huh?

Well, here is the kicker ...

In True Detective, his character Rust Cohle, in the opening scene and many to follow, is using a "Big Hug Mug" as an ash tray.
