Remember Chad's post last year about McKamey Manor, HERE it is to refresh your memory, if you dare (NSFW!). Now, the extreme haunt event, originally based in the San Diego area, is moving to the Tri-State, specifically McLeansboro, IL.

Here is attraction's 2015 trailer:

Okay, so the gist is, you must pass physical and mental evaluation, sign a 10-page waiver, then you enter the house to be scared and to be borderline tortured via being gagged and bound, fake blood thrown on you, etc. for hours, and it's all legal. Here's the FAQ. A Facebook group, "Say NO to McKamey Manor" has just cracked 1,000 likes and the debate/comments are pretty heated. Not to be outdone there's also a "Say Yes To McKamey Manor" page. I think the argument boils down to going to this attraction is totally voluntary. If McLeansboro residents and I'm sure out of town and out of state folks want to go, they will. And even though it would be temporary, it would offer employment opportunities. Owner Russ McKamey is moving to McLeansboro from Rancho Penasquitos because he can no longer afford the costs.

Would you go? McLeansboro is about a 2-hour drive from Owensboro.
