Meet Erica Owen’s Aunt Martina [VIDEO]

In July, the news of Erica Owen's death shook Owensboro. Her aunt, Martina Greer Billings put the word out about a month ago she would be collecting plastic lids/caps to create two memorial benches for domestic violence in Erica's honor. We accepted donations at the radio station. Wow, is all I have to say. 

I talked with Martina as she made her last pick-up at the station this weekend.

Simply unbelievable you all! As soon as we know when the lid/cap sorting will take place, we'll pass that along...and Martina told me the first bench could be in place as early as the middle of October.
