Over the last couple of weeks here at WBKR.com, we have introduced you to all the acts competing in the finale of our 2012 Battle for the Big O.  It's our annual competition where we search for someone to open the Big O Music Fest.  It's a great opportunity to open for huge names in country music and step on a stage in front of thousands to get your music heard!  On Saturday, August 4th, WBKR will head to Diamond Lake's "Good Time" Theatre for our Battle finale event in which our eight finalists will compete for $500 and the right to open for Blake Shelton at this year's Big O Music Fest.  Among those finalists, Marshall Dowdy of Marshall County, Kentucky.  He came to our Battle audition at Towne Square Mall and, appropriately, rocked out Blake Shelton's "Ol Red."  WATCH!

As you can see, our judges rounded up some amazing talent for our finale event.  Tickets for the Battle for the Big O finals are just $9.25 and are on sale now at WBKR.com, the WBKR studios and Diamond Lake.  For information about the show and to get YOUR tickets, CLICK HERE!

And good luck to Marshall and our 7 other acts competing for the chance to open the 2012 Big O Music Festival!

The Battle for the Big O is presented by Henderson Chevy Buick GMC.  Cross that money-saving bridge!
