Meet Max – The WBKR Pet of The Week

Sparky's Animal Rescue introduced us to a fun-loving sheltie named Max this morning. Max warmed up our hearts during his visit, and he is now looking for a loving home.

John Austin from Sparky's Animal Rescue brought the adorable 8-year-old sheltie into the WBKR studios during the Waking Crew with Moon and Chad.

He is very gentle, calm and submissive dog. He will not go up stairs. (And he will not stop smiling.)

Max came to the shelter after his owners took him to their vet to be euthanized rather than treating a tumor on his leg. The tumor has been removed and Max is doing just fine!

Max has not lost his fun-loving spirit. In fact, during Max's visit to WBKR he kept posing for the camera instead of playing with Chad.
