Meet Susan Mayhugh: Meteorologist Ron Rhodes’ Biggest Fan

Over the weekend, I had the honor and privilege on emceeing the opening ceremony at the annual March for Babies (for the March of Dimes).  Shortly before taking the stage, I was approached by Susan Mayhugh, who informed me that she listens to Angel and me every morning.  But, then, Susan made a true confession.  She doesn't really listen to hear me and my cohost (though she does admit that I am funny and Angel's a mess).  No!  She listens specifically at 6:40am when we chat with Eyewitness News Meteorologist Ron Rhodes!  As it turns out, Susan loves her some Ron.  In fact, I am going to throw it out there.  Ron, Susan is your biggest fan!

Not only does Susan listen to Ron on our morning show everyday, she watches (or records) Local Lifestyles everyday so she can see Ron.  Local Lifestyles airs on WEHT each weekday at 11am.  The show is hosted by my good friend, Ange Humphrey.  And, Ange, Susan really enjoys you too.  But, I have to break to you . . . you're not the primary reason for watching.  No ma'am.  You, my dear, are a distant second . . . to the one and only Ron Rhodes!  Yes, Ange.  You are the silver medalist.  Ron's standing on the top of the podium and we're playing the anthem for him, not you.  LOL!

So, here's what I need my television friends to do.  We need to arrange for Susan to meet Ron.  And Susan made no bones about her plot when I saw her Saturday morning.  She pointed at me from across the crowd, came over and said, "I'm going to tell Chad about this because I know he'll tell Ron."

What can I say, Susan?  You know me too well.

Ron, ole boy, the ball is in your court.  Your absolute biggest fan is Susan Mayhugh from Central City, Kentucky and she is absolutely dying to meet you and get her picture taken with you.  As you can see from the pic above, she photographs well.  And all it takes is a little arm candy to get her to smile big for a selfie.  Let's do this, Rhodes!  Let's make this happen.
