It's been almost a week since country singer Mindy McCready tragically took her own life at the tender age of 37. The country music community was rocked to its core over the loss of this once-promising talent who was on a downward spiral in recent years with substance abuse and family issues, hitting rock bottom when her fiance died. Despite the tragedy and the devastation that has ensued, her family and her friends have revealed the funeral and memorial plans.

E! reports that the late singer's family will hold a private funeral service on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Crossroads Church in Fort Myers, Fla. The burial arrangements for the 'Guys Do It All the Time' singer's final resting place have yet to be determined or confirmed.

A memorial, organized by her friends, her peers and the music community, is also slated for March 6 at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville. That should be a nice way for the people that knew and loved the singer to say goodbye and to achieve some sort of closure.
