Miss Kentucky Ramsey Carpenter Finishes In Top 12 At Miss America

In a word, wow! Hartford's Ramsey Carpenter may have not captured the crown, but she finished in the Top 12 of this year's Miss America pageant. And that is fantastic!

It was revealed during Sunday night's broadcast on ABC that Carpenter finished 4th in voting for 'America's Choice' and she won her talent prelim last Wednesday. Here's Wednesday's post-prelim interview with Carpenter and the other winners:

No matter the outcome, Kentucky and Ohio County are super proud of Ramsey! After fulfilling her duties as Miss Kentucky, Carpenter will begin her teaching career at, where else, Ohio Co. High School.
