Missing Teen Reported in Muhlenberg County

UPDATE: 11:05 AM - Tragically, the Sheriff has confirmed to 14 WFIE, that a body was found in a nearby pond. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the boy.

An unidentified teen has been reported missing in Muhlenberg County. The 13-year-old boy went fishing this morning at a pond close to his home and hasn't been seen since. Police found an empty boat and hat near the pond.

Authorities with the Sheriff's Office, Fish & Wildlife and EMA are searching for the boy and a dive team is coming to search the pond.
