In April, 3-year-old Victoria Wilcher of Jackson, Mississippi was attacked by a pit bull. The subsequent surgery has left scars which, doctors say, will heal once she grows more bone. But now she needs some healing of another kind.

A recent trip to a local KFC with her grandmother ended in devastation for the toddler when a restaurant representative asked the child to leave because the scars on her face were disturbing to the clientele.

Until that point, little Victoria had never been self-conscious about her injury. But that’s all changed.

Thankfully, the KFC corporation has stepped in and apologized and offered to do what it can for Victoria. Plus, they are conducting an investigation into the incident.
