Friday afternoon, bluegrass geniuses Missy Raines & the New Hip rolled into Owensboro for a 7PM performance at the International Bluegrass Music Museum. Lucky for us, they got into town early.

 

7-time IBMA winner Missy on an extraordinary 1937 bass fiddle, Ethan on guitar, Jarrod on mandolin, and Cody on snare delighted the WBKR audience with a couple of scintillating performances. This particular performance was actually the second of the two.

The song is called "Room to Roam" and the band has yet to even record it.
