Since 1926, BB&T Ballpark has been the home of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. In an effort to show support for Little League Baseball, the Pittsburgh Pirates and  and St. Louis Cardinals will play on the field Auggust 20th. This is the first time that a big league game has been played at Williamsport.

The really cool part of planning a game in Williamsport is that the pros will be at the World Series Championship game the day of their game, and then the little leaguers and their families will get to watch the Pirates and Cardinals later that night. ESPN, who televises the Little League World Series, will have the big league game as part of their Sunday Night Baseball schedule. How cool would it be if a team from the tri-state made their way to the Little League World Series this summer?
