"Life's a garden, dig it!" is just one of the many quotable lines from the original Joe Dirt (2001) and although it was never the best movie, I loved it, mostly because I love David Spade. He co-wrote the first movie and he's the co-writer again on Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser. Take a look!

Spade announced via Twitter Wednesday night, he was releasing the sequel a night early. It's official streaming date was July 16th/tonight. Okay, I'll be honest, the movie relies on a lot of the gags and one-liners from the first one, only there's an interesting twist. I won't spoil it.

Three of the original stars, Brittany Daniel as Brandy and Christopher Walken as Clem, and Adam Beach as Kickin' Wing are back, but noticeably missing is Kid Rock. Spade told Rolling Stone, the rocker at first wanted to help finance the sequel. Unfortunately, Rock dropped out to promote his latest album. His role is taken over in the sequel, quite badly, by former Sugar Ray front man turned talk show show host turned actor Mark McGrath. Seriously, he's not good. Oh my bad, Dennis Miller, who played radio host Xander Kelly in the first movie is also back to help re-tell Joe's story and he doles out plenty of insults.

If you liked the first movie, chances are, you'll like this one. I'm just a sucker for Spade and his humor, which I've loved ever since his days on SNL. I also love the classic rock soundtrack which melds perfectly with Joe.

You can watch 'Joe Dirt 2' right now here on Crackle or stream it via the Crackle app. Dang brother!
