This past weekend, I had the pleasure of taking a trip to Saint Bernard Parrish, Louisiana for my first ever fishing trip. I knew that with the group going, I would be in stitches the whole time, but I had no clue how much I would enjoy the actual fishing and the overall Louisiana experience. I got a gallon of daiquiris in a drive-thru upon arrival, ate crawfish and a fresh raw oyster, plus caught a whole bunch of fish. We had a random, but perfect group of people from Kentucky, Alabama, Florida and of course, Louisiana and we all laughed a whole heckuva lot, ha!

Y'all check out this video of my trip that Brett put together!

I'm so glad my friends Curt and Amy asked me to go along, I'm ready for the next trip, ha! Also, a big thank you to Robbie and his crew from Campo's Marina. Robbie is in the video teaching me how to eat crawfish and coaching me thru that oyster. His family has been in this business for over 100 years and they all treated us like we were family. Good people down there in Louisiana!

Huge shoutout to the ladies at the Rock-n-Dock, my new favorite place. These two run a shrimp dock during the week, then Friday and Saturday nights, it turns into the coolest dance spot ever! It's not even a bar, they don't serve any alcohol or anything really, just a good time! Between the killer tunes, Princess Pony, grown-up Jenga games and invite to hop on stage and sing, you ladies sure do know how to throw a party. We will be back!

Until next time, Louisiana! Got 'em!
