My Halloween Message For My Trick-or-Treaters
I never hand out candy on Halloween. No, it's not because I'm like Moon and sit in the dark not wanting to talk to children. It's because we always go to a friend of Carsyn's and trick-or-treat with a bunch of other kiddos. So, I normally just leave a container of candy on the front porch and call it a day. Of course, I realize that the first kid who finds it probably puts every piece into his lucky little bag, ha!
This year, I thought to leave a semi-threatening note along with the candy. I really left for the parents walking around with their kiddos, thought maybe they'd get a good laugh out of it.
So, here is my message...
I thought it was hilarious, haha! I posted this pic on my personal social media pages and had several responses saying that all the candy would be gone. I even had a friend say that someone would probably take my container too, ha! Well, when I got home from trick-or-treating with my Princess Bride, I checked the front porch. Here's what I found...
Can you believe it? I actually had some candy left, haha! See, there are still some God-fearing people around, haha!
Hope y'all had a great Halloween!
