This is cool. The NHL's Nashville Predators have introduced Get Out and Learn! (G.O.A.L.!) a FREE on-ice youth hockey program. One of the sessions will be held at the Edge Ice Center in Owensboro.

The session at the Edge Ice Center will be held on Friday, July 25 from 4:30-5:30. G.O.A.L.! has been created to offer youngsters the opportunity to experience hockey and its excitement without the cost of purchasing equipment. Boys and girls ages 5 to 8 with no prior skating or hockey experience, this program will introduce the exciting sport of hockey to kids while teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-confidence as a child develops through athletic participation.

Participants will receive on-ice instruction by USA Hockey certified coaches, complimentary hockey equipment, stick and skates, an official G.O.A.L! jersey, graduation certificate, progression sheet from their local rink, and much more!
