January 14th is National Dress Up Your Pet Day!  So, naturally, Brett and I decided to do our part in making the day special for pets and pet owners everywhere.  We called up our friend Joanie at Halloween Havoc and picked out some runway-ready outfits for our dogs and cats. (Okay.  We know this sounds insane, but work with us.)  Brett's cat, Bronson, worked the camera like a champ.  Like James Bond. Like Daniel Craig with a furball and a catnip addiction.   My dogs, Wilma, Dolly and Ellie, worked it like they were trying to make the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition or, better yet, the centerfold in a Larry Flynt magazine.  LOL!  Check out the photo spread and the bonus video which features my dogs absolutely destroying Wilma's lime green tutu.

First, here's Brett's cat Bronson.  Man!  He would be a chick magnet if it wasn't for the fact that his manhood is laying around in the dumpster behind the vet's office.  Yep!  Sorry, Bronson.  Too soon??

Here's Wilma.  She may be a little older than the other showgirls, but she's still got it.  Yeah, baby.  She's got it!  And look at her working the camera and staring right at it.  Don't just stand there, Wilma!  Let's get to it.  Strike a pose . . . there's nothing to it.  Vogue.  (I must tell you.  I know that look she's giving me through the camera lens.  It's the look that says "If I was Cujo, I'd eat your face."

And here's Dolly.  Trust me when I tell you that she was hardly receptive to this costume.  Remember the scene with the doll in The Miracle Worker?  Yep.  That's what it looked like in my house.  However, once Dolly calmed down and realized she was going to be on Facebook, she emerged from her cocoon a beautiful butterfly/Bichon Frise hybrid.

And finally, here's Ellie.  She didn't mind the paparazzi at all.  In fact, it was like watching Paris Hilton.  She threw on a boa and curled up on her favorite blanket and gave great face.  I mean, look at her!  I thinks she's gunning to be Miss July in Playdog.

Well, I knew the good mood at the photo shoot wouldn't last too long.  And it didn't.  Dolly and Ellie apparently had some serious issues to work through and threw a massive Naomi Campbell fit.  I'm not sure why but they apparently had a bone to pick with Wilma's tutu.  I'm not sure what it did to them, but they went all Jerry Springer on the thing.
