It’s almost time for one of the most wonderful times of the year, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. This Sunday, there will be a slight change with how the brackets/matchups will be revealed.

Instead of jumping on in and revealing the brackets at the top of the selection show, each team that makes the tournament will be revealed first, all 68 of them. This will happen within the first 10 minutes or segment of the show. A lot of drama will be taken out of the equation as the teams who are on the bubble will now know up front whether they make it or not.

As for the Kentucky teams who are waiting for the selection show: Murray State won the OVC Tournament so they get an automatic bid. Louisville, is probably not making the 68-team field, but they will compete in the NIT, Western Kentucky University will have to win the Conference USA Tournament to get in*, and Kentucky will get in though it's not known what seed or what bracket they will end up with.

UK's journey in the SEC Tournament begins Friday afternoon here on The Country Station. The Cats will face Georgia who upset Missouri in the second round, at approximately 2:25 p.m. CST and you can hear all the action right here on 92.5 WBKR!
