New Civil War Film ‘The Middle Ground’ to Be Shot in Daviess, McLean, and Hopkins Counties [VIDEO]

Three friends–Dallas Lee Blanton, Angela Yonts, and Nathan Austin–who met at Murray State University will be producing a new film about the Civil War in western Kentucky this summer.

Locations for the shoot include Daviess County, Hopkins County, and McLean County where the work begins Friday during the annual Battle of Sacramento re-enactment.

The movie is called The Middle Ground.

Dallas, Angela, and Nathan stopped by Wednesday afternoon to share details about the film and how the whole process got started.

And, by the way, if you click that link above you’ll be able to navigate to information regarding the trio’s need for local musicians, one of which could be you.

I love the idea of this are being used by filmmakers. It’s rife with possibilities. Our good friend P.J. Starks knows that very well.

Below, you’ll find the promotional video for The Middle Ground.
