Let's start by being very thankful that the new drama series Sleepy Hollow looks nothing like the awful Tim Burton horror movie of the same name from 1999. It was a great, timeless story and Burton went all Burton on it.

Well, Tim Burton's thumbprint is nowhere to be found on the new FOX series set to debut Monday September 16th at 8PM.

Judging by the trailer, we have a very cool premise here as Ichabod Crane is resurrected and pulled through time into the 21st century. The reason for this "Crane revival" is a mystery that dates back to the days of the founding fathers. However, the legendary Headless Horseman is also brought into the modern world and begins a reign of terror in 2013 Sleepy Hollow.

But here's the really cool twist. In a mash-up of classical literature and biblical prophecy, the Headless Horseman, in this new incarnation, is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. And according to fox.com, he's not the only villain Ichabod Crane will face if he's to solve the series' overarching mystery.

Sounds awesome. Looks awesome. Can't wait!
