There's always something about every generation that society decides is relevant. For our current kiddos, it's participation trophies. The sense of not hurting anyone's feelings seems to have taken over from preparing them for life, which isn't always fair, right? Well, one NFL Pro-Bowler isn't a fan of the "every kid gets a trophy" mindset and he isn't at all scared to do or say something about it.

James Harrison, 2-time Super Bowl Champion, 5-time Pro-Bowler and current Pittsburgh Steeler took to his Instagram page to explain why his kids would not be keeping the trophies they just received.

 

Well, what do YOU think? Are you OK with participation trophies? I'm not exactly sure how old his children are, but for this poll, let's use the age of eight.
