ABC's new talent competition, Duets, is back on the tube tonight for its second round of action.  The celebrity judges, Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Robin Thicke, combed the country to find two duet partners a piece.  And, last week, each judge joined their contestants on stage to have a sing off in the first round.  Though he didn't finish first in the judges' scoring, the standout, for me, was John Glosson.  Check out his version of Sugarland's "Stay" that he sang alongside Jennifer Nettles.  This is terrific!

John actually finished the night ranked third among the eight singers.  Kelly Clarkson's contestants finished 7th and 8th in the voting and she wasn't happy about it at all.  In fact, as credits rolled on the premiere episode she was yelling "Conspiracy!!"

To explain more about how Duets works, here's Jennifer Nettles . . . one half of one of country music's most famous duos.

Duets airs Thursday nights on ABC!
